ERIS AELLA SILVA FEMALE TWENTY-FIVE SINBAD: LEGEND OF THE SEVEN SEAS GODDESS ERIS NINA DOBREV RISSY | Appearance
Eris may not fully look like her old self, but she does hold a resemblance of her once glorious appearance. The similarities go as far as her long flowing dark hair, her signature smirk, her not-worthy eyes, and her slim figure. While she is curvier now and days, it still is a small frame. Eris once sported red eyes with yellow cornea, something that became more human when she woke up in Cinder Isle, now she has dark brown eyes and white corneas. Due to her appearance, able to change at will due to her body being not that of a corporeal one, she has lost that.
While she no longer wears the original outfit, she sported on her non-corporeal figure; she holds true to the idea of purple in her outfits. Usually seen wearing blouses and slacks or even dresses with high heels, her hair is always down in thick waves or up in a perfect bun. Her makeup usually consists of purple eyeshadow with a little bit of smokiness, no matter what she wears. She doesn’t wear jewelry or have her ears done, and she lacks tattoos on her body, but she does have an X-shaped scar, the same place she put it when she crossed her heart to Sinbad, thus, it appears between her left shoulder blade and her breast -- something she hides with make-up.
Personality
Eris is still much like her old self, but less extreme due to her lack of memory and godly presence. She is still quite malevolent and deviance, but she has a moral compass that she ignores and thus isn’t a noble person. While her old self was the goddess of pure evil and chaos, she isn’t as evil or chaotic as she once was. She can still be somewhat spiteful, vindictive and passionate but not in the ways she once was. While she once loved watching the world crumble into chaos, or glorious event as she once referred to it, she doesn’t think that way anymore.
Unlike her prior self, she was quite interested in Sinbad due to his black-heart, selfish and determined little thief she doesn’t remember him. However, she can be quite selfish and determined herself. Eris was once quick to anger, and the whole world paid for it, while that is still the same the entire world doesn’t pay – just those that anger her. She is usually someone that tells people she once liked, and now dislike, that they are “cute but not that cute” something she told Sinbad at one point.
Eris is and will always be wickedly intelligent, using her manipulative and cunning nature to her personal gain. She also takes a dullness tone to happy endings, hating things when they don’t end in chaos, but that has changed and is replaced with feeling dull and disgusted towards lovey-dovey couples on Cinder Isles. She is also quite flirtatious, using her beauty for her personal gain, something that came with her mortality.
History
Eris is the daughter of the Primordial Night Goddess Nyx, though sometimes she is referred to as the daughter of Zeus and Hera, and thus, is the Goddess of Discord and Chaos. Though sometimes she is referred to as the “Spirit of Chaos” and dwells in the Realm of Chaos with her pets, the zodiac signs. She also has thirteen children, all of whom have left her behind in the realm, not that she minds in the slightest. For the last few years, Eris has watched from her realm and spied upon the black-hearted thief, Sinbad, and his old friend, the prince Proteus, who guards a priceless treasure, something that the pirate-like crew want. Using her monster, Cetus, and sending him down to take Sinbad down, thus, interrupting the thief from stealing from the price, and sending her plan into motion. However, that is when Eris’ precious pet loses his shell body at the hands of Proteus and Sinbad, who impale the beast in the sides of its head.
However, this doesn’t stop Cetus from returning and Sinbad being sweep beneath the ocean where Eris enters the bubble she places him in to save him. Introducing herself, she offers him a proposition, to steal the Book of Peace for her and in return, she would let him live and make him rich—something he craves. Luckily, she doesn’t need to convince him much before he agrees, and Eris is bound to her word for all eternity. The two-part ways and the plan goes into motion, at least, until Sinbad meets Proteus and his future wife, Marina, and backs out of the plan to steal the book.
Luckily, Eris knew this would happen and takes it upon herself to use the visage of Sinbad and brandishing a replica stimulated knife of his steals and closes the Book of Peace, thus, leading Syracuse to fall into ruin. Sinbad is quickly blamed, due to having left behind the replica knife and testimony from a guard who saw him, the thief is imprisoned and sentenced to death. However, Proteus protects the “innocent” thief and thus, is given an ultimatum. Either Sinbad returns in 10 days with the book, and they will spare both Proteus and Sinbad’s life. However, Sinbad being a horrible person leaves his friend to die and decides to head to Fiji, at least, until the stowed away Princess Marina changes his mind.
Through much trial and tribulation, with each new test to stop them from making it, Eris loses and is met with both Sinbad and Marina in the Realm of Chaos. Wanting to play a game, Eris gives Sinbad a choice to make to get the book back; an honest answer will do so. She asks the simple question if he would return to die if he does not get the book back, which he answers with a “yes” but she knows it’s false. Thus, before he can reach the book, the platform falls, and both himself and Marina fall into oblivion with her stating he is lying.
However, Sinbad wasn’t lying, and it isn’t long before he returns to Syracuse without the book and takes his rightful place in the execution, though he shows up late. Saving Proteus from the beheading, Sinbad lays down his head and waits for the ax. But it never comes. Instead, Eris appears and saves the day, shattering the sword meant to end his life. Enraged that he was telling the truth, and ruining her plans and a perfect day, but he uses her past against him. He played the game, he didn’t lie and her second bond for eternity has been met, and thus, in a rage but being an honorable goddess that follows her words, she returns the book and accepts defeat. Leaving behind the place and Syracuse unharmed, she bids farewell to Sinbad.
However, that isn’t the end of Eris story for when darkness plagued the earth, and she watched from a distance, she found herself on the side of Pitch. Though she wasn’t proclaimed on his side, due to her neutral demeanor as a goddess, she did play her chaos and discord among the earth. At least, until Pitch was defeated and the spell cast that sent her to Cinder Isles. And thus, she now lives a normal life as Eris Silva on the island, a lawyer that makes deals to get criminals out of jail. As long as she gets paid, she doesn’t care if they are innocent or guilty.
