Minsoo Bae Male 21 Treasure Planet Morph Kim Taehyung V-Sshi Appearance Minsoo, though apparently a young adult, still acts and looks very much like a child. He has a willowy figure, lacking much of the muscle that men his age start putting on. He doesn't look frail per se- but he'd certainly never come across as threatening. Especially only standing at a fairly unimpressive 161 cm. More than the fit and strapping young men on the island, Minsoo is better classed as a "pretty" boy. Admittedly his delicate natural features- pouty lips, wide eyes and soft skin- gave him a good head start. But it is no secret that Minsoo puts a lot of time and care into his appearance to look as good as he does. From skincare, cosmetics, jewelery and make-up, he will spend hours everyday, messing around with his looks. Because of that, he's hard to describe in terms of appearance as he frequently changes it whenever he feels like it- hair colours and styles change on a weekly basis, as does make-up, contacts and his precious accessories. Naturally he does have smooth black hair and dark eyes but he's unsure when the last person to see him like that was... But if you ask for the weirdo with bright hair and an outfit ready for fashion week in Paris, you'll probably find yourself directed to Minsoo. Personality Just as he stands out for his appearance, Minsoo's personality is also... atytpical. For all intents and purposes, he is still very much a (hyperactive) child at heart. He plays minesweeper on his computer at work, he drinks hot chocolate over coffee and he still refuses to eat 80% of vegetables. And whilst it garners a lot of frustration (especially in a professional environment), this is a part of his charm. For a lack of better words to describe him- he is a ball of pure sunshine and cuddles. He enjoys the small things in life like the sound bubbles make when they pop and the colours of the world around him. He finds the beauty and adventure in everything he does. Many say that his lack of understanding of the world around him is what allows him to be so carefree and optimistic. But Minsoo is not an idiot... rather, he doesn't feel the need to concern himself with the complexities of life that get in the way of fun. And in this sense, he is incredibly immature, ignoring the responsibilities and hardships of his new life (not that this has ever bothered him much... mainly those who get involved with him). And whilst Minsoo is by no means an idiot, he certainly isn't an academic... He does things in his own way. He is known to have quite the imagination, which plays into his designs and creative side. And as well as this artsy side to him, he spouts a lot of nonsense about futuristic designs. People assure him that flying ships don't exist, but he can picture how they might work so clearly in his mind... He is always looking to the stars, as if someday he could find a way to get there himself. Some insist he would do much better as a sci-fi comic artist. All these fantastical stories and ideas he has fuels the adventurous side to him as well (look out Neil Armstrong!) He is a friendly character, happily interacting with anyone and everyone regardless of who they are but few people have the patience or temperament to spend log periods of time with him so he does find himself alone fairly frequently. He doesn't take social cues very well and that can quickly frustrate the people around him. Perhaps his lack of popularity also has something to do with his love of cosmetics and make-up (an uncommon hobby for teenage boys and young men). He dreams someday of working for a large magazine or modelling agency to show off his skills. He claims he can make anyone- himself included- turn into anything with his magic brushes. But love him or hate him, the one skill people cannot deny are his skills at imitation. Whether it's an accent, voice, habits, looks- be it with his make-up or acting, he pulls off uncanny impressions. This remains his most requested party trick. History It has always been a question of great debate- how did morph come to be? Was he created by a mad scientist or was he born from another pink shape-shifting blob? The question has never been answered and has never bothered Morph. He has simply continued as he has been for hundreds of years, doing as he pleased. And what pleased him most was the small childish joys in life. Often seen as a menace or pest, many tried to rid themselves of him when he came by... or worse they wanted to use him for his shape-shifting abilities. But Morph wouldn't have any of it. He quickly learned to disregard beings and their narrow-minded and selfish desires. He had too much time to worry about such petty things. Though living for hundreds of years does get boring after a while. So what better way to spice up his life than when he was offered a life aboard a pirate ship headed to find the biggest treasure in the universe? Morph didn't care for the riches at the end, but he strongly admired Silver for having the same personality as himself, playful and carefree~ not held back by society and instead enjoyed every minute of excitement and adventure beside Silver. In fact, Silver was probably the first person he had ever felt close to and he found himself willing to follow him to the end and back. When he met Jim Hawkins, originally he enjoyed the company as someone to pick on and play pranks on. But as they spent countless months together, Morph found himself attached to the boy too. And for the first time in centuries, Morph was morally conflicted in regards to his goals when he finally saw another side to Silver and had to make the choice between his two friends.when they were at odds After they came back from their adventure, Morph spent his days with Jim and his family at the Benbow. When he awoke as Bae Minsoo on Cinder Isle, he struggled in his first few months. He was tied down to societal rules and needs that he ad never had to worry about before. Even as a mortal, he didn't want to get a job, a house or be responsible... But he eventually had to compromise... as he had needs to take care of (much to his great frustration). As Bae Minsoo , he can't quite explain his disregard of societal norms but he feels held back by them and has a strong desire to live away from the island and all the people who want him to live a normal life. However just because he finally "wanted" a job, didn't mean that the opportunity would just land in his lap. He was fired from 14 jobs within 24h over his first month of job-seeking. It was an impressive feat... but as time dragged on, Minsoo's situation started to become desperate.   It was then he got an offer from a loan company to work for them as a secretary. Minsoo knew of the reputation of the company- they would take advantage of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people just to make some cash on the side. But did he honestly care at this stage? As long as he got himself some money to buy food and keep a small apartment, that was all that really mattered. And what an asset to the group he was. His sweet appearance and innocent look worked a charm on many customers and Minsoo became a huge source of income to the group.  He isn't particularly interested by the job though and his eyes set on a career in design and make-up once he's saved enough.
