Alice Moyra Carroll Female 16 Alice In Wonderland Alice Lili Reinhart Colin | Appearance
A little girl no more, Alice has dropped the blue and white dress she was once known for and adopted whatever happens to be in season at the moment. Standing at 5’6”, she has slim yet athletic build, often finding herself at the tennis courts in the local park, which also happens to be the cause of a number of small scars lining her elbows and knees. She can never decide if she wants her hair down, or in a ponytail, so an array of hairbands line her left wrist, always there in case she needs one. Or if she wants to send it flying across the classroom.
Personality
Living in the moment has loads of positives and negatives attached to it, sometimes the same values bordering both. While Alice is less hyper-active nutcase and more flexibly ditzy, the latter is closer to being an airhead more than anything else. Simple things, like picking up after herself or doing a task for someone else are quickly forgotten once something more interesting or beneficial grabs her attention. Calling her a slob is more than likely a compliment to her and she doesn’t really care that the title follows her around wherever she goes. Being extremely self-motivated in the aspects of her life she does care about, like playing tennis or doing absolutely nothing, she’ll use those as an excuse to flake out of other responsibilities, such as school work.
At the same time, she completely contradicts herself: social interaction is her lifeblood, and without a specific amount of it daily, she feels like she misses out even if she isn’t. Extremely needy when it comes to material possessions (which she then carelessly leaves wherever she pleases) and being noticed, Alice is definitely a spoiled brat. Having never suffered any real consequences for her actions, she has yet to learn what that even means. She always wiggles her way back into good graces with those she pushes away with her aforementioned flakiness, and even if she isn’t taken back, she knows she can find someone as a replacement.
When inquiring about her ideals or goals, she would rather push the subject aside, afraid that making any sort of solid commitment means she has to be married to it for the rest of her life. For the things she is interested in, such as tennis, more realistic goals could be assumed, but she would rather not say unless sat down and forced to make a decision, specifically by her parents. Mistaking her lack of decision making as laziness wouldn’t sit well with her, and she would prefer to call it ‘going with the flow’.
History
Before, Down The Rabbit Hole: Growing up on a rather expansive piece of land, and to a relatively well-off family, little Alice was going about her business, spending her days reading and playing out in the garden, when it first happened. What most would consider a bad acid trip, Alice called it reality: an adventure that started off by chasing an odd white rabbit down a hole ended with a battle against the Queen of Hearts. Along the way she encountered a grinning, sadistic cat, a pair of rotund twins, food that shrinks and grows the consumer, and a caterpillar that had a serious nicotine addiction.
Being seven years old at the time, her parents never believed her, deciding that she suffered from fantastical dreams and delusions, brought on by the many books she spent her time reading. Alice spent every waking moment trying to get back to Wonderland, only finding herself there once more a few months later, when going through a looking glass. Much of the same occurred, and just like the first time, Alice found herself home after her extraordinary trip.
Now: Her adventures through Wonderland exist as vivid dreams, and that’s it. The rational part of her brain tells her that she must have made them up at some point when she was younger, to make up for a lack of something; something that she really doesn’t know. She knows there’s a gap there, but can’t put her finger on it. There are more important things to do, anyways.
These days, she attends Atlantis Academy, in her second to last year, and aspires to play tennis professional once she graduates. Her grades aren’t the best in the world, goofing off and doing whatever she finds interesting taking precedent over studying and homework. Outside of school, she is usually either rolling through town with her friends, hitting up the shops frequently, or she’s at the local park trying to bait an unsuspecting victim into a tennis match that she will definitely win.
She most certainly does not feel like she is late for a very important date. The only constant reminder is that clocks drive her crazy, always ticking and tocking even when other sounds should drown them out.
