Saw A Tower, I Climbed It (Elsa)

Flynn absolutely loved his job. Sure, most people wouldn't want to go "galavanting" through the forest, but he couldn't imagine anything better. He got time alone to himself, he got to explore around, and- best of all- no one was bossing him around! He could wander all day, or for a few days, if he so chose, which made being a cartographer even better. He also didn't mind drawing his maps. He found that surprisingly therapeutic. 

Being a cartographer also meant he got to check unique things out before anyone knew what he was doing. He could scope out a cave, see if it had any valuables, or find delicious orchards and no one would be the wiser until he told them about it. Today he found a tower. It appeared to not have a way in, but there was a window pretty high up on the thing and Flynn was trying to decide what the best way to get up there would be. He could climb it, he was sure, but he didn't really want to fall and hurt himself ... it would probably be years before anyone found him if that happened.

So here he was, sitting on a rock staring up at the thing as he contemplated his options. He was so intently focused on the tower that he wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings, which wasn't quite common for him. Normally Flynn was very aware of the forest around him, but something about this tower ... caught his attention. It was almost like he'd seen it before ... naaaah. He'd definitely remember seeing this.

Elsa had considered trying to climb the tower, mostly to cultivate her curiosity about what was inside, but it looked pretty impossible. She was around the back side of it now, hidden from the space where she had entered into the clearing. What was a tower like this doing here on the island, anyway? Everything about Cinder Isle seemed so familiar and yet so frustratingly not.

She groaned in frustration about not finding a door and then covered her mouth, what if someone had heard her? No, no she was alone... no, she wasn't. She came around the side of the tower to see a man sitting on a rock, staring up at it. "No door," she commented awkwardly.

It wasn't long before Flynn heard someone walking nearby, but he didn't move. He was too busy intently studying the outside of the tower. WHY was it so familiar? Would it be a terribly bad idea to just try and scale the outside of the thing? He heard someone groan and smiled for a second before smoothing over his expression. If they could see him, they probably wouldn't appreciate him laughing at them. 

A young girl walked around the side of the tower and Flynn turned his attention to her when she said there was no door. "I know," he answered with a nod. "I still want to get in somehow. Do you think it would be a terrible idea to try and scale it?" He stood up and moved closer to the tower again. It wasn't a smooth edge, so there should be footholds the entire way up, but it could still be risky. Then again, Flynn lived for the adventure of things. "I think I'm going to try," he told her, anticipation welling up inside of him at the thought.

He said he noticed there was no door, but that he still wanted to get in, suggesting scaling it. She raised an eyebrow at him, watching him move closer to the tower. "I mean, it's possible..." she muttered, but he had already said he was going to try and her eyes widened a little at that. "Alright, alright. Just let me spot you at least," she suggested, her tone somewhat matronly and slightly worried. She moved up beside him, ready to stand below him at the towers base once he started climbing. "This seems like a crazy idea. Shouldn't you come back with rope or something?" she suggested, her voice slightly tight.

This was the type of thing Flynn lived for. He loved the idea of doing something dangerous, probably something that no one else had ever done. Really, he just wanted to see what was in that tower. Hopefully something awesome. The woman behind him seemed skeptical about his idea though. He rolled his eyes as he gazed up, trying to decide where to start. 

Right when he thought he found the right place, she suggested him letting her spot him. What, like to make sure he didn't fall? She obviously didn't know anything about him. Flynn Rider did not fall off of buildings. He was a great climber, at least from his point of view. Still, he nodded, though hesitantly. "Sure." He took hold of one of the rocks and started to climb. 

Then she was talking again, saying they should come back with rope and Flynn laughed. "That would take almost all the fun out of it," he told her as he started to really climb. Honestly, it wasn't hard. He made his way up more quickly than he expected, the familiar feeling washing over him again. Did he know this place? Trying to keep himself from thinking too much, he paused for a moment. "Are you going to join me, or do you want me to discover this all on my own?" he asked before resuming his climb.
