Merida Lian Dunbar Femaile Sixteen Brave Merida Sophie Turner Suzie Appearance Unlike her playby, Merida often has a hair of wild curls. She was born with insane red curls and green eyes, but here on Cinder Isle she sometimes attempts to straighten it out, just to see what it looks like and have a little variety and fun. Merida dresses in clothes that are free moving and easy to do any sort of activity in. She despises getting dress up, preferring to never 'restrict' herself in that way, as she would say. Personality Merida is a lovely, brave and reckless soul with a constant need more movement. She can be incredibly focused when she chooses to be, however, and when she can control her attention span. Merida is passionate, feisty, and always stands up for what she believes in. She has trouble listening to her authority figures, and often believes that she is always right despise what logic says. She has a blind belief that she can do anything, and often can get into trouble for that sort of behavior. She's an adventurer first and foremost, always wanting to find and learn new things. This whole 'loss of memory' thing is actually rather exciting to her. She feels as though she can do whatever she wants, despite what her 'destiny' or 'path' was beforehand. In fact, she's oddly uninterested in learning of her real past at all. Merida is accepting this new world wholeheartedly and is ready to go into the fire of the unknown and make new discoveries. She had quite a temper, if that wasn't obvious already. She can easily snap and get rather frustrated and snarky with those around her. She can be incredibly moody, and you never really know what she's going to be like. Whether she'll be the fun, adventurous friend everyone loves or the snarky, harsh brat who doesn't know what she wants. Either way, it's always an adventure with Mer! History Merida grew up in the kingdom of DunBroch, to loving parents Fergus and Elinor. Elinor always expected Merida to act proper and perfect, as a princess should, but the Scottish Princess took after her father and wanted to explore, fight and go on adventures. She spent her entire childhood being told what to do by her mother and disobeying every word. When her three little brothers, triplets, were born she was told she had to be a good example. Merida was anything but. She taught them all sorts of mischief and they even taught her a few new tricks, even though they were so young. Merida and her mother had a hard relationship full of fights, misunderstandings and disagreements. During a particular bad fight, her mother informed her that she was bringing three suitors to marry her. Merdia chose an archery contest for the suitors to compete for her hand, but she snuck into the competition and knocked them all out of the park herself. Meridas mother was furious and the two fought endlessly until Merida ran off on her black horse, Angus, into the forests. Magical beings called, will o' the wisps, then led Merida to a cottage where a witch dwelled. The witch sold Merida a spell, which turned her mother into a bear. Long story short, Merida had to prove that she truly loved her mother in order to turn her mother back into a human. The spell was broken, and the mother and daughter developed a stronger and more understanding relationship. Then the nightmares started to come and chaos overtook the kingdom. The other kingdoms began to fight each other more than ever, and Merida was forced to accept that life wasn't all fun and games. She joined in the fight against whatever dark force had overtaken them and the last thing she remembers was seeing her father about to get run through by a large man with a dark sword... Now on Cinder Isle Merida is attending the Grade School and causing mischeif in her wake. She is accepting of this loss of memory deal and his happy to cause plently of trouble in this new place with new people. SHe thinks it's rather exciting having no idea who her family, friends or loved ones are.
