IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS GIRL YOU'D STILL BE TRAPPED
[attr="class","next"] Evelyn was asked to stay late at the pub that night, mostly because her relief had not shown up and proceeded to call and say they wouldn’t make it after she was already supposed to be off. Needing the money, she agreed to stay and help out with closing down the pub and finishing with overtime. While the place was clearing out, a few people remained, mostly those that were drunk and waiting for rides or those that were going to continue to drink until the place kicked them out. Some people eve arrived, and this being her first late shift, she just wanted to sit down. Heading to the manager for the night, she asked if it would be okay to take her break and get some grub, which he agreed to let her do. Quickly she went to the back and gave the cooks the order for her, a burger with fries, and started filling up a cup with cola for herself. Once the food was ready, she grabbed it and proceeded to sit at a booth, her uniform still on, and threw her hair up. Taking a long sip of the soda, she pulled out her phone and started scrolling through it.
